“People truly love the atmosphere here,” Patti says. “It has that old vibe inside that you don’t see too often anymore.”

And the locals can’t get enough — even if it means waiting for up to an hour!

“It’s not uncommon for us to have a line going down the street,” Patti says. “And it’s not just locals. Tourists will wait in line all morning for donuts.”

If waiting in line isn’t your thing, you can always just be on the lookout for the bright pink donut boxes. Sharing is caring, right?

“The bright pink boxes are pretty iconic in this area,” Patti says. “If you have the pink box, people know you’ve been to Thomas’.”

“People really love our footlong chili dogs,” she says. “We also have a something we call ‘Southern Poutine.’”

The Southern Poutine is a Southern twist on a Canadian classic and yes, it’s absolutely as glorious as it sounds.
