Panama City Beach certainly has no shortage of shops and stores. But if you’re looking to go beyond the neon shirts and various kitsch, take a trip over to Little Village.

Little Village, located in historic St. Andrews, is an eclectic boutique with a fascinating collection of clothing, jewelry and accessories. And although Little Village is supporting local artists and vendors, they certainly aren’t limiting themselves to the Gulf Coast. We spoke with the General Manager, Lindsey.

“We always try to find unique items from around the world,” she says.

And finding global goods is only half of the mission. The team makes an effort to work exclusively with fair trade vendors that are committed to paying their employees fair wages while improving the communities in which they operate.

Speaking of communities, Little Village feels like they have become part of the Panama City Beach community. Anne, a long time employee, talked about how it’s more than just a store.

“You never leave here without meeting a new friend,” says Anne. “You’re never alone.”

The shop has become so popular that even tourists are sold.

“I think people are just drawn to this shop,” she says. “People make it a point to stop here before they leave Panama City. If you can’t find it here, you probably don’t need it.”
